This is an essential measuring equipment kit. You can combine it with a reorder kit or for replacing damaged measuring equipment.
There are three variants of the Basic Kit:
- Measuring and testing instruments only for replacing instruments in use, or adding to them (this one)
- Reader/ calibrated smartphone + measuring and testing instruments for first time purchase of ProWater/for additional users
- Reader/calibrated smartphone + measuring and testing instruments + bag to organize and accommodate 50 tests each of 8-12 parameters for first time purchase of ProWater
ProWater packages include reagents along with this base kit option.

Basic kit: measuring instruments
Hueristic Devices uses third party courier services for shipping orders. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the packed product and calculated accordingly at the checkout. Orders will be dispatched within about eight working days after receipt of payment. Dispatch details will be shared on the registered mail-id and phone number of the client. Kindly note, the order may be tracked as per details provided along with dispatch. Hueristic Devices itself does not provide any tracking mechanism. All shipping will be via road transport. Shipping time will depend on geography and is usually around 10-15 days maximum under normal circumstances. Hueristic Devices will not be responsible for delays in shipping.
Return and refund policy
The testing kit can be exchanged with another kit within 15 days of purchase subject to non-functionality of reader/calibrated phone if purchased on the Platform and not otherwise, or if there were damages to the kit at time of arrival of product. Reagents can also be exchanged within 15 days of purchase only if there is any leakage at the time of receipt of the reagents.
How does exchange work? We maintain records of when the testing kit and reagents are dispatched and delivered at our end, which shall form the basis for computing the 15 days exchange timeline. Where you choose to exchange, you will be required to provide us with certain information such as reason for exchange and necessary proof as may be required on the Platform such as screenshots, or photographs that substantiate the grounds for exchange.
We reserve the rights to update the exchange conditions from time to time. Except for the circumstances mentioned herein, testing kit and reagent once purchased cannot be exchanged.
Thank you for your interest in the products and services of Hueristic Devices. This limited warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Hueristic Devices.
What does this limited warranty cover?
This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. The limited warranty is restricted to Hueristic Devices field bag, reader (calibrated phone) and test components provided in the kit and does not include any chemical reagents and standards provided along with the kit.
During the warranty period, Hueristic Devices will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. The calibrated phones supplied as part of the kit will be repaired or replaced if found in good working conditions without any physical damage to the devices. Hueristic Devices will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
How long does the coverage last?
The warranty period for physical goods purchased from Hueristic Devices is 180 days from the date of purchase. A replacement physical good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original physical good or 180 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
-Physical damage to reader and other components under warranty,
-Deterioration due to normal wear and tear,
-Damage caused by impact with other objects,dropping,falls, spilled liquids or immersion in liquids,
- Damage caused by accident,improper usage of materials
- Malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
What do you have to do?
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you. Submitting the proof of purchase is prerequisite for warranty claims. On confirmation from concerned personnel from Heuristic Devices, the appropriate action will be fulfilled within 10 working days.
